Room Three have risen to the challenge of learning from home. Welcome to self-motivation station!

Whanaungatanga

We have stayed connected using Google Hangouts chat and video calls. We have been doing weekly quizzes on current events, along with our weekly catch ups. Some video calls have been themed - So far we have had a hat theme and a house coloured theme. What will be next?!

Literacy Legends

From information report writing to poetry: Room Three can do it all! Students started off the term by choosing an animal to research and write about. They have since moved on to poetry - so far having completed synonym poems and three-word form poems. Write That Essay has also been a big hit in our class, the daily challenges are an awesome warm-up that the students certainly enjoy.

Wider Curriculum Tasks

Physical Education tasks have been a favourite from the wider curriculum task board. Room Three have been creating fitness circuits, participating in Jump Jam, and watching Fitness with Joe. They have also been creating songs online, producing impressive artwork, and learning more about themselves (Tūrangawaewae).
