Tēnā Koutou Katoa - Welcome to Term Three

Term three is always a busy term with a range of sporting and cultural opportunities followed by our school show. Please check your school calendar regularly so everyone is aware of upcoming events.

Thank you very much to the parents and whānau who have been able to join us over the past two days at our student led conferences.  It is very empowering for our young people to have the opportunity to share their learning.  If you were unable to make a time but still wish to meet with your child's teacher please email them.

On August 19 we have our "On Our Way" performance in the school hall.  This is an opportunity for all our musicians, cultural groups and dance groups to perform.  For many it is the first time in front of an audience and so is an important event as it gives them all a goal to work towards.  Entry is free and further information will be shared closer to the time.

Next week on Wednesday and Friday we have our Casebrook Open Days.  These replace our Open Night as feedback from last year's visits told us that people found the Open Days more authentic and the smaller numbers meant they could easily converse with staff and students. If you know of someone who is considering sending their child here next year please pass the dates on to them. Further information regarding these visits can be found later in the newsletter.

As always please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming events.
