On Tuesday 9th of November, Rooms 5 and 16 went on a fun, educational trip to Ara Institute of Canterbury, to learn about a career that they might not have known about.

This term our school focus for our Inquiry has been all about Careers. Room 5 and 16 left Casebrook in the morning and travelled to the city-centre by car. Once they had been exploring and learning about some exciting career opportunities they came back to school.

We wanted to find out some more information about their day so we interviewed Room 5 student, Katelin, to tell us a little more about their trip.

Katelin tells us that she found the trip fun and entertaining and would love to go again. She saw a really cool agriculture building and her favorite part was a fancy kitchen.

Katelin also said that she learnt about a new part of modern-day studies that she could take up at university.

Katelin thought that trip was so enlightening that it made her think that this might be an interest that could turn into something she would like to study at university.
