With the support of the whole Casebrook community we believe we have mitigated the impact of COVID-19 at Casebrook. We have continued to be able to deliver the majority of the planned programmes and students have been able to take part in many of the extra-curricular activities we offer.

At Casebrook, ‘REP Values’ are at the forefront of everything we do. The students have shown perseverance in coping with the challenges that Covid-19 has brought such as extra students in their rooms, different classroom teachers, engaging in learning from home and online assemblies.

Next week sees the Whānau Learning interviews take place. The purpose of these interviews are for the students to have the chance to explain their progress, reflect on accomplishments, and set goals. These interviews will be occurring online or over the telephone. If you have not already made an appointment please contact your classroom teacher.

The front block refurbishment is nearing its completion. The building is due to be handed back to us by the end of next week. We are very excited about this revamped space. Thank you to the classroom teachers, students and specialist staff who have been working in temporary locations during the build. Work will commence on the back block during the holidays with a completion date in November.

On the last day of the term we will have our end of term Celebration Assemblies. This is a time where students receive their Gold Casebrook Challenge badge and we reflect on the term's achievements. These assemblies will be able to be viewed online.

If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact the classroom teacher or the staff in the office.

Thank you for your ongoing support over the term and I hope you and your family have an enjoyable break.
