Black Ferns – Thank you Aotearoa Tour 2022

The Black Ferns are travelling round Aotearoa and will be in Christchurch.

Come along to Victoria Square on Monday 12 December from 4pm to 5.30pm to meet the players, see the trophy and take part in special activities and give-aways.

Edible and Sustainable Garden Awards

The new Community Board has chosen to support this initiative again for 2023 and applications are now open on the CCC website – click here to view and apply online to be in to win. Or you can print and fill out the application form attached to this email and drop it in to the Papanui or Shirley Service Centres.

Come and join the growing group of residents, community groups and schools who are learning to produce their own fresh fruit and vegetables. Everyone's a winner!

Community Carols at 5.30pm on Friday 9 December 2022 on the Front Lawn at the All Souls Merivale St Albans, 30 Church Lane, Merivale followed by a Twilight Market.

And don't forget the Mainfreight Christmas Show Parade from 11am on Sunday 18 December 2022 from 2pm at the Canterbury Agricultural Park, Curletts Road Wigram.

It's more of a festival-style event with roving entertainment, a Christmas market, food vendors and two large picnic areas for families to make a day of it.
