A new opportunity - EOTC Extension

By Bev Bell | Posted: Tuesday April 4, 2023

Every Wednesday afternoon, from the start of Term 2, 25 students will participate in Education Outside of the Classroom (EOTC).

The activities will include an outdoors maths badge, 10 hours of outdoor skill set development, 20 hours of a passion project, 20 hours of community service, outdoor orienteering, preparing and cooking outdoors, building shelters, water safety, first aid, and a day tramp.

To sign up go on to the Casebrook website. Entries close on the 6th of April at 3.00 p.m. There will be a cost of $20 per term and Miss Rennie will be taking this extension. Parent helpers are welcome.

It will not be held in the same place every week due to the different activities.

Miss Rennie started EOTC because there are other extension groups and she thought it would be a good idea to run an EOTC group to hit another target audience.

The EOTC extension group does lots of different things in the community and you can learn different survival skills that may help you in the future.
