Hagley Winter Sports

By Will Stribling | Posted: Wednesday May 17, 2023

Next Tuesday sees the start of Hagley Winter Sports. We have 26 teams competing in eight different sports over the next few months. We wish all these teams the best of luck and know that you will compete always showing Casebrook REP.

The Life Education team has begun working with our Year 7 classes this week around the effect different substances have on our bodies. The lessons have a component around vaping and the risks involved. These lessons will continue into next week.

Please join us this Friday between 2.30 - 3.30pm where you can visit the classrooms to see the art work carried out by Casebrook students during the Whakawhanaungatanga Inquiry Unit.

Next Wednesday afternoon the annual Casebrook Cross Country will take place. The race will occur in and around Casebrook Intermediate. Please feel free to come along and support our students.

Finally, thank you for your ongoing support with the NZEI actions. We realise that the possibility of strike action is a considerable inconvenience for families. Please be aware that the over-riding aim for this action is for teaching to become a better supported and resourced profession which enables teachers to provide more for children.

If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact the classroom teacher or the staff in the office.
