In September the girls A basketball team are travelling to Tauranga to compete in the 2017 AIMS Games.
The AIMS Games is a sporting event for 11-13 year olds to go compete against other teams in New Zealand. We are going to play basketball with our school team but there are lots of different sports that you can go to AIMS for such as netball, football, and swimming.
We are the first team from Casebrook to go, and we are all really looking forward to it. We are looking forward to it because we get to play basketball, go shopping and see another part of New Zealand that we may not have been to before.
We are going to fly to Auckland then drive in a team van to Tauranga. We will be in Tauranga from the Sunday the 10th till Saturday the 16th of September. We will be staying in a house, from an airBNB. We are playing at the ASB Baypark Arena.
We are doing lots of fundraising to go to AIMS and we would like to thank everyone for supporting us with all our efforts so far.
