At Casebrook there are lots of choices for Hagley sport. Kohana and I chose netball. Hagley netball gives you the opportunity to learn and meet new people but most importantly it gives us a chance to play sport because there are lots of people who don't have time to play in the weekend.
How do you make a Hagley team?
Everyone who wanted to play netball had to trial. Trials are one of the hardest parts of the actual sport. You can still trial even though you don't play at all and maybe you might just get into a team. The main thing is to try your best and don’t give up.
Game time
Every Tuesday we go to Hagley to play against different schools. Games go for 40 minutes. Our school has four teams, two Year 8 teams and two Year 7 teams
Ella and I are both in the Year 8 A team. We have played netball since we were in primary school. Our team has played very well so far this term and we have only lost two games. Our last game for the term is against Breens blue and we think it will be a close game but are hoping to win.
