Resilient Children,Resilient Teens Talk

By Nick Leith | Posted: Wednesday September 6, 2017

Casebrook Intermediate is hosting a parent talk with Paula Partington, a Registered Psychotherapist on the Canterbury School Based Mental Health Team.

As students enter pre-adolescence and move into Intermediate schooling they go through their second biggest growth phase as a child. This talk is a must for any parent keen to support their child as they transition into Intermediate School and begin the phase into adolescence.

We would love for families with students looking at Casebrook for 2018 to join our current families in hearing from Casebrook pastoral team member, Paula, in how to foster resilience (perseverance) in our children.

Mark Russell (Student Wellbeing & Support Teacher) and Nick Leith (Deputy Principal) will also be there to add a Casebrook perspective and answer questions.

We hope you can join us and warmly invite you to Casebrook at 7pm, on Wednesday 13th September.  This is a free talk. Please share with friends and family.
