Casebrook Students Challenged in Top Town Competition

By Sharon Keen | Posted: Tuesday November 28, 2017

On Tuesday, students dressed in house colours, took part in a great range of challenges involving water, balance and team work. Fun was had by all. Thank you to Emily Mordue and Elizabeth Kennedy for organising the day.

Thank you to all who attended our S.T.E.A.M.+ display last week.  Our students really appreciated the opportunity to share and explain their learning.  We are constantly amazed at what they can achieve.

Last week we had a team of 45 students travel to Ashburton to compete in the Inter-Intermediate Athletics competition.  Congratulations to all our team members, they achieved many pleasing results and were a pleasure to travel with.

Tonight we have the "On Our Way" performance.  This is an opportunity for many of our students who learn a musical instrument or who are members of performance groups to perform for an audience.  It makes all the lessons and practices have a purpose.  You are very welcome to  join us in the hall at 7:00 pm.

As you are all well aware this is a very busy time of the year and we appreciate your support.  In the next three weeks we have Celebration Assemblies for the Year 7 & 8 students, Prize Giving, the Year 8 formal and the whole school outing to Hanmer Springs.

Thank you for your ongoing support.  We are looking forward to celebrating the many achievements of our students and hope you are able to join us.
