On Thursday and Friday the 19th-20th of February the Casebrook Girls Cricket team went to Hagley Park to compete in the National Primary School Shield Competition.
Their first game was against Cobham Intermediate School and they lost their game by a lot. For their second game they played against Christchurch South Intermediate at the end of the game they unfortunately lost in a close game. They explained that it was very hot and everyone was exhausted but they were happy because they all worked well together as a team, and hope they work together as a team again.
