On Tuesday afternoon Lynda, a self-defence instructor comes to teach a group of girls at Casebrook Intermediate School about standing up for themselves and being stronger.

This has made a huge impact on girls at Casebrook because they are learning to defend themselves. They have learnt how to turn around and kick if someone tries to grab them from behind, also they have learnt many types of punches and loads more skills.

She helps girls learn about being careful around guys or strangers that we don't know and that there not always as nice as they seem. This will help the girls in our school feel more confident and give them the skills to deal with tricky situations.
